Hartfield House is located in the heart of Eastbourne within 10 minutes from the railway station and town centre. We benefit from unrestricted street parking.
We are a small, independent and individual home priding ourselves on the very high quality service and accommodation we offer. We have accommodation for 20 residents – 18 single rooms and a double room, many of them with ensuite facilities. The Bedrooms and communal areas are finished to a high standard. Communal areas include the large comfortably furnished lounge with television, video and music centre. The dining room decor is light and spacious and has sufficient room to sit 20 dinners comfortably. Our secluded rear garden provides opportunities both for peace and quiet for our residents a place to enjoy and entertain their family and friends.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own small items of furniture, pictures, photographs, and ornaments in order to make their room their own. Residents have access to all areas of the home via a passenger lift. At Hartfield House we offer residential care to older people with varying levels of needs. All of our residents have their own personal care plan, recognising their individual needs and wishes. We provide freshly home cooked hot lunch with varied choices that meet the needs of our residents. We run a varied programme of activities prepared and designed to provide entertainment, and stimulation for our residents.
Hartfield House has an ambience of warm, caring and homely environment needed by the elderly residents within our care. We have qualified, experienced, and friendly team who care for our residents like family. The care staff are accredited to meet the care standards for a good care home.
The home is regulated by CQC and has an overall “GOOD” rating. We are also inspected by the local authority, fire authority, food standards authority and conduct regular meetings with the local social services team to make improvements.
We aim to enhance quality of life by enabling people in our care to make informed choices about their daily life. We actively engage with residents and relatives, encouraging regular feedback and ensuring the people in our care are as independent as possible.
