CQC regulates Hartfield House Rest Home to provide care at Hartfield Road
At Hartfield House we offer residential care to older people with varying levels of needs. All of our residents have their own personal care plan, recognising their individual needs and wishes.
Hartfield House provides accommodation to 20 residents. We have 18 single bedrooms, and one double twelve bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
At Hartfield House, we have continued to maintain our strong sense of core values. Our primary objective has always been:
to strive for excellence in providing an ethically sound, individualised, highest quality of nursing care for older people in a homely environment with the support of well trained and highly motivated staff.
We want to enable our elderly residents to continue living as independently as possible.
Hartfield House is registered with the Care Quality Commision (CQC) as a “Care Home without Nursing”. This allows us to provide accommodation with personal care to Adults over the age of 65.
Personal care includes assistance with dressing, meals, washing and toileting, as well as advice, encouragement and emotional and psychological support. The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) defines this as attention required in connection with bodily functions. Bodily functions can include dressing, washing, bathing or shaving, toileting, getting in or out of bed, eating, drinking, taking medication, and communicating. Seeing and hearing are also considered to be bodily functions.
Hartfield House care home offers a full range of nursing care support, including trial stays, Respite (temporary) stay, and convalescent care, as well as long-term care. Residents of the retirement home are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Hartfield House operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times.
We are a small, independent and individual home priding ourselves on the very high quality service and accommodation we offer.
Our dedicated staff work hard to always ensure residents’ needs are being met. Bedrooms and communal areas are finished to high standards and the same attention to detail extends outside to our well-maintained gardens and grounds, which are particularly popular with residents during the warmer months.
